Smile Days

During the summer, from Monday to Friday 9-16,30, children from the ages of  8 to 13 years old have the opportunity to spend several hours a day having fun and talking in a foreign language with brilliant Tutors speaking English.
This takes place at their school or a local community venue.

The Tutors must be native speakers with excellent teaching skills and have referenced experience working with children.
All Tutors will teach English in the morning, following the book provided and play sports and games in the afternoon with a small group of 10-14 children each.

A training morning will be organized in Modena, at Smile office on the Sunday before the beginning.
This project is concluded with a show that the Tutors and students will write together during their week at Smile Days.
All accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and travel for work are provided.

Smile The company was established in 1996. The aim is to help the Italian kids to improve their language and cultural knowledges through didactic activities such as Theatre in English/French, Drama projects, Smile days summer camps.

Available to All students. Knowledge of Italian not necessary. Native English speakers only with very good knowledge of English grammar and handwriting.

Location North-east and centre Italy

Vacancy Details Enthusiastic, flexible, kind young teachers wanted to work in Italy for two weeks. They will be teaching Italian children English and preparing them for a show. Teachers will be paid per week, given full board and lodge and up to € 80 flight costs.

Requirements Teaching experience preferable-necessary. Experience of sport, games, drama or arts and crafts to kids is definitely an advantage.

State date Monday 29 August until Saturday 10 September 2011.

Teachers who are new to Smile will be expected to attend a training day in Italy and to arrive in MODENA by August 27th morning – Bologna airport preferable.
